Casings

For cased boreholes up to a depth of 35 m, LEFFER offers double-walled drill pipes with a usable length of 1 m to 6 m. Our low manufacturing tolerances for diameter, roundness, and straightness pay off on the construction site. Precisely fitting pipe connections ensure quick, straight positioning, screwing, and optimal power transmission.

The pipe connectors, consisting of a nipple and a socket section, are secured with radially arranged cone screws. The inside and outside of the drill pipes are smooth along their entire length, which prevents the reinforcement cage or drilling tool from getting stuck when pulling the casing. LEFFER drill pipes have also proven themselves many times over in cased kelly drilling through water-bearing soil layers or in drilling with water weight. To prevent water and fine particles from entering the drill pipe, both the cone screws and the pipe connectors can be sealed with additional sealing rings.
