The world’s most powerful hydraulic casing machine

LEFFER, based in Germany, is already known worldwide as a manufacturer of machines for special requirements.

In order to sink drill pipes with diameters of up to 3.3 m to a drilling depth of 120 m and more, a machine is required that is capable of providing sufficient power and torque to safely sink and recover the pipe string.

To meet customer requirements, LEFFER offers the world’s most powerful hydraulic casing machine, the VRM 3300 T2300 model.

This machine delivers a torque of 23,000 kNm (17,000,000 lbf-ft) with a lifting capacity of 11,780 kN (2,700,000 lbf).

Despite these impressive parameters, the operating weight of the casing machine is only 85 tons, making it easy to transport.

The VRM 3300 T2300 functions in the same way as conventional casing machines.

Appropriate hydraulic power units are available to drive LEFFER’s hydraulic casing machines, providing sufficient hydraulic power to ensure efficient and safe operation.

All LEFFER PowerPacks can be equipped with Tier 4 final-certified diesel engines.
