Since 1946, LEFFER has been manufacturing, supplying, and assembling steel structures for all areas of traditional steel construction and plant engineering.

Thanks to the close links between steel construction and other areas of LEFFER’s business, we have the technical equipment and experience to cover additional areas of steel construction, such as gas tank construction, the construction of cracking furnaces, and electrostatic precipitator housings.
In the field of hydraulic steel construction, for example, we manufacture, supply, and install wedge and rotating segment gates for ship locks.

Steel skeleton construction and pipe bridges

LEFFER manufactures and assembles structural steelwork for all areas of classic steel construction, such as steel skeleton structures for hall constructions. LEFFER also has extensive experience in the design and assembly of large pipe bridges.

Special constructions

Thanks to our extensive technical equipment, we are also able to manufacture heavy engineering steel structures, such as a dynamically stressed test bench with a press force of 20,000 kN.

Power plant construction

Since 1962, LEFFER has been supplying steel structures on a large scale for the construction of cracking furnaces, shaft furnaces, platform furnaces, reformer furnaces and preheater furnaces. LEFFER has been involved in over 70 projects worldwide to date.
