As a one-stop-shop, LEFFER covers the complete fabrication process chain – from product development, engineering, and prefabrication to assembly, welding, testing, coating, and transport management. Every step is executed in-house, ensuring precision, reliability, and the highest quality standards for critical industrial applications.

Material Expertise is a core strength, i.e. carbon and low-alloy steels, high-strength quenched & tempered steels, wear-resistant steels, corrosion-resistant and nickel-based alloys, duplex and superduplex steels, austenitic steels, and titanium.

Our name stands for robustness and durability: whether it’s a pressure vessel, heat exchanger, gasholder, machinery, or complete plant module, every product is engineered to perform flawlessly on site.

With decades of experience and skilled teams, we handle complex, large-scale, and cross-functional projects, including modules, skids, and complete plant assemblies.

Design and project execution

CAD / CAM

An experienced team of qualified employees enables LEFFER to produce all design drawings in-house. This means that welding expertise is incorporated right from the planning stage, as is consideration of our manufacturing capabilities.

This ensures that even rush orders are processed on time, without delays or errors in the exchange of information. Confidentiality agreements with customers and licensors are strictly adhered to.

The use of state-of-the-art CAD systems is a matter of course, and the exchange of data via appropriate interfaces ensures effective and efficient order processing – from the initial sketch through to the finished design.

  • 1 gun drill machine for plates with a thickness of up to 1 m and a diameter of up to 5 m
  • 14 vertical turning and boring mills
  • 1 facing lathe
    • Disc diameter 3,000 mm
    • Capacity Ø 6.0 m x 1.0 m and Ø 4.5 m x 4.5 m
  • 2 vertical drilling and turning machines for workpieces up to 6.0 m in diameter and up to 3.0 m in height

Pressing and cold or hot forming

Components can be cold- and hot-formed using hydraulic presses with a maximum pressing force of 2,000 tons

Rolling and bending

Sheets up to a maximum thickness of 60 mm can be rolled on site on various rollers. Thicker sheets can be rolled by our contractual partners. Sheets up to a thickness of 12 mm and a width of 7000 mm can be folded in-house.
